On October 29, 2024 at 7 pm the catalog presentation of the exhibition series “arkadenale.Klassen” will take place in the KUNSTARKADEN.

The KUNSTARKADEN have always provided a platform for up-and-coming artists and given them space to take their first professional steps. The exhibition idea of presenting classes from the Academy of Fine Arts Munich arose from the long-standing collaboration between the KUNSTARKADEN and the Academy. This close connection was reason enough to highlight it with its own exhibition series.
From October 6 to December 22, 2023, over 100 students from the Academy of Fine Arts Munich were invited to exhibit their works at the KUNSTARKADEN. Six different classes each presented their work for two weeks. To accompany the artworks, numerous performances and art activities offered visitors a varied program.
Each class brought their own ideas and concepts to the design of their exhibition, resulting in an impressive variety of creative approaches and artistic forms of expression.
This catalog presentation aims to preserve the exhibition “arkadenale.Klassen” beyond the exhibition period and to give it a lasting impact.
