FEED ME MYTHS

Ludwig Dressler Silvia Gardini Sara Mayoral Julia Walk Sandra Zech

30 September to 24 October, 2026

Opening

Tuesday, 29 September, 2026 , 7pm

Myths are not the opposite of reality; rather, they are part of how reality is structured. As narratives, they shape our perception: ideas about bodies and roles, about systems and the distribution of power. They determine what is considered natural, what seems possible, and what remains invisible.

Feed Me Myths brings together works that engage with these kinds of constructions. The exhibition explores how images, materials, gestures, and technologies contribute to the creation of meaning, how repetition becomes conviction, and how conviction becomes structure. Here, myths do not appear as relics of the past, but as active systems. They are inscribed in language, in social codes, in visual orders, extending into even the smallest gestures of everyday life.

To feed myths also means to expose them, to test their limits, to bend their logic, and to put them under pressure until they begin to shift. Within this field, myth becomes a site of negotiation rather than certainty: a space in which power is not merely represented, but continuously rewritten.
